Review Tall Girl movie – Netflix product

The film “Tall Girl” is about Jodi – a girl who is 1m86 tall always wants to blend in with the crowd, disgusted by others paying attention to her because of her height. Jodi just wants to be “a girl” and not “a tall girl”.

The movie basically has a similar pattern to other High School movies like: “THE DUFF”, “Easy A”, “Mean Girls“, … But maybe because of the moment, “Tall Girl” brought More emotions for me than ever before. There are beautiful lines that are hard to imagine, among them is when Jodi’s sister, who has been a “beauty queen” since the age of 6, told her sister, “You mean more to. me than any stupid crown “, when Jodi’s father stood in front of her room and said” I only want to say that I love you “, or the scene where Dunkleman fantasizes about the day Jodi falls in love with a guy other than him, she will want to wear high heels, and when across the block The streets to find a pair that suits him, and then, when he’s too powerless to search, Jodi will remember the shoes he gave.

Tall Girl Movie
Tall Girl Movie

In the last scene, when Jodi wore high heels, wore a high collar and suit to the night of the prom, I was a bit spicy. The film does not convey much more than the message of “loving yourself” and encourages us to escape from being shy of our own shortcomings, but sometimes they are not even blemishes. The film did very well in this submission, without any instruction or exhortation. It all comes from emotions.

The message that she constantly hears from friends and family is to wear high heels – but it’s hard to ignore the trait that defines her point of view and (she feels) distracts her. forget in society. Supporting each other in friendship and family is praised in this movie as a need to gain self-esteem. With the right heart, the film can tell teenagers who feel marginalized, isolated or even bullied need to be confident in themselves. Only when we are confident in ourselves can we receive true love from everyone around us.

Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘Flipped’

Have you watched ‘Flipped’? If you have not yet, I highly recommend it for many good reasons.

1. The valuable lessons

The film is going to teach you that love is not only about physical intimacy (kissing, etc.) or the look. It is beyond that. From the director and author’s point of view, it will remind you of your young love that might be the purest, sweetest and most innocent ever.

On the other hand, kids today seem not to realize how beautiful it is. That is why, when the ending of the film approaches, many viewers feel disappointed. They want more and more. Not all, they hope a sequel is available. Still, the movie author shared that she desired to keep the characters’ innocence.

2. Fantastic characters

Many may love Bryce Loski’s character. He may look coward, but he is indeed too shy to chat with a girl. Can I call it cute and sweet? Do you barely see boys that act so nowadays? Many of them do not show enough respect for girls.

Here, the film portrays Juli Baker as a normal girl. She is weird to some people. And no one does not know that she has a special feeling for Bryce for a long time. When looking deeper into this character, you will find her to be reliable, honest, and loyal. Her heart is full of love for the beautiful nature.

3. The ending

The film ending cannot be better. What makes the main lead loves Bryce this time is not his smiles or eyes but his personality. Juli likes him because of what is inside him instead of his handsome appearance.

Overall

‘Flipped’ is full of pureness and simplicity. At the same time, it delivers moral lessons of love, honesty, and understanding. Watch it not to regret later!

Elton John said Michael Jackson was mentally ill

Elton John‘s ME was published in the US on October 15, but some of the content was revealed first. In the book, the singer recounts the last encounters with Michael Jackson, before the “king of pop” died of drug shock in 2009. “I knew MJ when he was 13, 14 years old – when he was a child In the last years of his life, Michael isolates himself from the world, only God knows what kind of medicine he thinks of and what drugs he uses. I write these lines with sympathy. Michael is clearly mentally ill and makes people around annoying, “Elton John said.

According to Elton, Michael did not receive help from colleagues and friends. “He just wants to hear the words going on,” he wrote. The singer also said that Michael Jackson avoided interacting with friends, preferring to play with children in the last years. At a party at his home, Elton saw Michael go out to play video games with his maid’s son. Michael looks skinny and emaciated. The male singer did not touch the food served at the party.

The NY Times says the autobiography ME reveals many of Elton John’s life stories such as getting married, adoption, and relationships with famous artists like Freddie Mercury and John Lennon … “I wrote the book, so that when I die, the children can read and learn the truth about their fathers, “Elton said.

Elton John, 72, is an English singer and songwriter. He started his career in 1962 and has sold over 300 million albums. He has won the Grammy five times and one time Oscar. The singer currently lives with his partner David Furnish and two adopted children. In May, the biopic about Elton John – Rocketman – was released and revealed many hidden corners of sex addiction and drugs of the singer.

Promising works at Venice Film Festival 2019 (Part 3)

The project marks the return of Olivier Assayas as a director and screenwriter. This time, he returned to the thrilling movie line, about five Cuban political prisoners imprisoned in the US in the 1990s on charges of espionage and murder. Actors Penélope Cruz, Gael García Bernal and Ana de Armas participated in the project.

In 2016, Assayas won the “Best Director” award at the Cannes Film Festival with Personal Shopper. Indiewire rates him as one of the creative filmmakers and expresses the most powerful views of contemporary cinema.

About Endlessness

The work is intrigued by the contrast between the name (About Endlessness, ie “Talking about infinity”) and the duration of only 78 minutes (among the shortest in the movies). The introduction also intrigued when unrelated situations: a couple hovering over the city of Cologne (Germany) in the middle of the war, the father tying his shoelaces to girls in the rain, the girls dancing outside the cafe and the defeated army heading to the prison.

Roy Andersson is a veteran Swedish director, from advertising industry, famous for his personal film style and has only made six films in the past six decades. His most recent film – A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence – won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2014.

Indiewire rated Babyteeth “unknown” on the Golden Lion race at the Venice Film Festival. The work is the debut film of Shannon Murphy – female director Australia. The film blends the story of puberty with the family comedy genre, revolving around a young woman (Eliza Scanlen) who suffers from a fatal illness who has a crush on a drug dealer (Toby Wallace). Ben Mendelsohn – Australian actor marked the past few years in Hollywood – plays the girl’s father.

In 21 works of the Golden Lion, Babyteeth is one of two films directed by a female. This factor also made the film more interested in the period when many people thought that the film village needed more than the voices of women.
